1.2 ton - 2.5 ton Electric Reach Truck

Most manufacturers supply reach trucks with AC power, and generally come with a 6kw drive motor which reaches a very high level of torque in a very short space of time. The machines come equipped with 11.5 kw pump motors with internal gears which are very quiet, helping to offer the operator a very quiet and comfortable machine. Most manufacturers try to ensure that both of these motors come encapsulated so they do not require cleaning or the removal of residue.

Reach trucks tend to be operated for longer periods than counterbalance trucks, so most manufacturers try to ensure that comfort is top of the list when it comes to design, generally you will find a strong fabric seat, that feature shock absorbers, and come with a high level of adjustment, this ensures the small, large, slim, and heavy operators will all be able to drive in comfort.

Standard equipment tends to include multi functional LED displays, with battery state of charge indicators, hour metre, direction indicator, and generally a basic diagnostic system that helps the operator to report any breakdown more accurately.
