EX20 series succeed in improving the incredible performances of previous series by increasing max power and torque of 6BG1T ISUZU direct injection turbo charged engine: +9kW and + 40Nm!!!!

Increasing or performance was achieved in complete respect of very restrictive Directive 97/68/EC Stage II in EU countries effective from 1st January 2004

Thanks to the use of a three-speed transmission system, the high performance engine is employed to the full, resulting in major increases in travel speed, gradeability and acceleration

The excellent mobility makes a major contribution to high work efficiency.

Engine power enables to fit extra performance tandem hydraulic pump to achieve fastest lifting speed in its class to ensure swift load handling work

Compared to previuos series, operator's visibility of EX20 has been improved by a special design of the counterweight  and by a wider view through the mast

Electrically controlled forward/reverse lever operates at the touch of a finger and operator can easily shift from first to second and third gear without removing his hands from the steering wheel. Automatic transmission is available as optional

Specially designed, oversized floor pedals are angled to improve ease of operation and reduce fatigue without compromising safety. Roller mounting on the accelerator pedal accurately transmits foot movement, ensuring better low-speed control.

The meter panel is easy to read through the adjustable steering wheel, enabling the operator to confirm operating conditions quickly: safety and productivity.

The integrated headlamp and direction indicator control column can be operated easily and self-canceling indicator lights eliminate the need to switch the indicators off manually after each turn

All KOMATSU FORKLIFT IC trucks incorporate a full floating cab design; EX20 Series cab use HCS technology to guarantee best isolation to engine vibrations.

Operator's cabin is extraordinary large and sound isolated and steering wheel is of small diameter to give light movement and sharp response.

Improved Notch-release parking brake lever has been adopted
