Komatsu's range of transpallet trucks with folding platforms include two models designed to meet different customer productivity needs:

• The MWP20/30F-1R models with the revolutionary Hydrautronics system, powerful 2.5kW traction motor, 375Ah batteries, optional side removal of the battery and standard operator safety guards offer the best solution for heavy-duty usage.
  
• The MWP20FS-1R model is equipped with a 250Ah battery and 1.2kW motorm to meet normal usage requirements.

Power-assisted steering is a standard feature on all trucks and a 75° movement of the tiller is sufficient to completely and effortlessly turn the wheels, even if the truck is at a standstill or unladen.

Depending upon the dynamic conditions of the truck, the patented Hydrautronics system (MWP20/30F-1R) serves to prevent the rear pivot wheels from moving back and forth by means of hydraulic cylinders electro-controlled by the logic system. This increases the area of contact with the ground, reduces the movement of the operator when turning and compensates for the wear on the tyres leading to a longer productive life and greater operator safety!

The MWP20FS-1R model is equipped with a traction switch that can be controlled directly by the operator who can choose between a more aggressive or gentler turning speed, with the lower speed permitting lower energy consumption depending upon the load being transported.

The platform and safety guards are very easy to operate by a simple movement of the hand. When closed, all the elements will be housed within the chassis thus allowing the operator greater flexibility on the ground.

A sensor located on the platform detects the position of the operator. Traction is disabled when the operator climbs down from the truck, allowing the element to remain open without endangering the operator as he/she is moving, which is a huge convenience!

Safe driving is ensured by the reduced speed when turning, operating the truck in pedestrian mode or when the safety guards are open. The MOSFET logic also controls the regenerative braking system, whose parameters can be set to distinguish whether it is operating upon release of the flywheel or by reversing the direction of travel. The braking system also includes an electro-mechanical parking and emergency brake that acts directly on the traction motor.

• Tiller protected to IP65 and equipped with highly dependable pushbuttons

• Pump motor lock-out when lift function reaches limit stop
